IT'S EASY

If you can boil water you can make your own beer. Some extract recipes do not require boiling the malt — less than a gallon of water with sugar. Mix remaining ingredients in the fermenter and leave it alone until bottling time (1 to 3 weeks). Bottle and wait 2 weeks (if possible) and enjoy. At 4 weeks it will be even better.

IT'S GREAT

You control the taste and the ingredients. Whether you like light, amber, or dark beers, light bodied, full bodied, extra hops, high or low alcohol, little or a lot of carbonation, it's up to you. You make it to your own taste; it's your beer!
